Heather Wdowin, NMD
Dr. Heather Wdowin is a California licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor and primary care physician. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology from Cornell University and received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is an accomplished diagnostician and practitioner, and a member of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Restorative Medicine Association, and has studied with the leaders of the Environmental Medicine field. Dr. Wdowin has completely circumnavigated the planet with a backpack, hiked the Grand Canyon nine times, sailed down the Nile, and meditated in the queen’s chamber of the great pyramid. She is a nature and animal lover, enjoys creating art, and organic gardening.
Nicolas Francoeur, BS
Nicolas Francoeur received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Maine in 2011. After graduating, Nicolas decided to leave the cold for the California sunshine. Before working at Medela Centers, Nicolas was an experienced office manager who spent four years managing an outpatient Physical Therapy office where he was known as a jack of all trades.
Nicolas enjoys inspiring others to live a healthy lifestyle through both diet and exercise. His goal in life is simple – be happy, live clean and be a positive influence on those around him. His vast understanding of human anatomy, kinesiology and nutrition make him a valuable asset to our team.
Nicolas lives an active lifestyle and enjoys weight training, running, golfing and skiing. When he has downtime he enjoys spending it with his friends and family. He lives in Shingle Springs with his girlfriend and dog, Oakley.
Nikki received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. After school, she worked as a program manager for homeless services in Sacramento County. She then moved with her husband, Dan and their dog to Seattle, WA. In Seattle, Nikki gave birth to her son, Jackson and fell in love with the progressive, holistic health and prenatal services she received.
After Jackson turned 1, Nikki enrolled in a holistic health coaching program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, moved back to Sacramento and spent 6 years as a health coach for women seeking mind, body and spiritual wellness through private coaching and co-teaching wellness retreats. She is passionate about helping people find their confidence and learn to take the very best care of themselves.
Nikki loves to cook, hike, read, play board games with her family and you can usually find her SUP paddle boarding on the American River in the summer. She lives in Sacramento with her husband, son and 2 dogs.
